ZIMBABWE UNVEILS “BEYOND THE LIMITS” VISION AT OSAKA EXPO 2025

The highly anticipated Expo 2025 Osaka officially commenced on April 14th in the Kansai region of Japan, drawing participation from over 150 nations eager to present their visions for future societies. Zimbabwe proudly joins this global exposition, themed “Designing future societies for our lives,” with an ambitious agenda focused on attracting investment, boosting trade, and promoting its rich tourism offerings.

Over the six-month duration of the Expo, organizers anticipate a staggering influx of more than 28 million visitors. Zimbabwe has set an optimistic target of welcoming at least 3 million individuals to its dedicated Pavilion. Operating under the compelling theme “Beyond the Limits,” Zimbabwe’s exhibition aims to showcase the nation’s untapped potential and highlight the diverse opportunities available across key sectors.

The Zimbabwean Pavilion will serve as a dynamic platform to engage with a global audience, particularly targeting Japan’s substantial population of over 123 million, as well as attendees from other participating countries. The “Beyond the Limits” theme encapsulates Zimbabwe’s aspirations for growth and development, emphasizing its commitment to innovation and progress across various industries.

Zimbabwe’s renowned tourism sector will be a key highlight of its participation. The Pavilion will offer a captivating glimpse into the country’s breathtaking natural wonders, including the majestic Victoria Falls, its diverse wildlife, ancient cultural heritage sites, and vibrant local cultures. Through immersive exhibits and engaging presentations, Zimbabwe aims to entice international tourists to experience the unparalleled beauty and hospitality of the nation.

The country will also present its investment promotions package which seek to attract foreign direct investment into key sectors such as mining, agriculture, manufacturing, and infrastructure development. The Pavilion will provide detailed information on investment policies, incentives, and potential partnership opportunities, highlighting Zimbabwe’s conducive business environment and its strategic location within Southern Africa.
