
RUSSIAN TOURISM FORUM OPENS PROMOTION AND INVESTMENT WINDOW FOR ZIMBABWE
The Zimbabwe Delegation to Russia participated at The Let’s Travel! Russian Tourism Forum, (12-16 June 2024), at Moscow’s VDNH Convention Centre, Russia.
The forum is one of the most influential events in the global tourism sector, showcasing the vast tourism potential of Russia and other countries, offering a glimpse into the diverse opportunities available in various types of tourism.
Among the many sessions, a key session for Zimbabwe was the “Russia-Africa Strategic Cooperation to Develop Tourism and Stimulate Economic Growth,” which was scheduled for 14 June 2024. Barbara Rwodzi, Zimbabwe’s Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Honourable, was a speaker during the session and presented on the possible areas of Tourism Cooperation between Zimbabwe and Russia. Zimbabwe’s participation was also aimed at opening avenues for Promotion and Investment for Destination Zimbabwe.
Furthermore, the forum featured an international marathon of cultures, celebrating the diversity of global traditions and heritage.
The Let’s Travel! Russian Tourism Forum is one of the most influential events in the tourism industry and showcases the tourism potential of Russia and foreign countries and opportunities for all types of tourism.
The Forum provides a platform for business networking between the state and business to discuss current issues in the industry, public policy, and the investment climate in the tourism sector, and also includes a major tourism festival.
The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the official support of the Russian government, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the National Priorities autonomous non-governmental organization, the Centre for Strategic Research, and major industry associations.
