R.G Mugabe International Airport Domestic Departures on the Move for Renovations

The Airports Company of Zimbabwe (ACZ) has announced the temporary relocation of domestic departures at the R.G Mugabe International Airport to accommodate renovations at the Domestic Terminal. Effective today March 21, 2024, all domestic departures will relocate to the International Departures Terminal #02 to facilitate the ongoing rehabilitation project aimed at improving the overall passenger experience.

Departing domestic passengers will now check in at Counters 10-13 located in the new wing of the International Terminal. Boarding for domestic flights will take place at Gates 3 and 4, also within the International Terminal.

The ACZ assures travellers that domestic arrivals will remain unaffected by the renovations. Passengers arriving on domestic flights will disembark and collect their luggage as usual at the Domestic Terminal.

The ACZ understands the importance of seamless travel and appreciates passengers’ patience during this construction phase. This relocation is expected to last until the completion of the domestic terminal renovations although an exact timeframe hasn’t been disclosed by the ACZ. The company is likely to provide updates on the progress of the renovations in the coming months.
