NEW FLIGHT SCHEDULE CONNECTS FASTJET BETWEEN HARARE AND LUSAKA

Fastjet Zimbabwe is set to enhance regional travel with the launch of a new scheduled flight service linking Harare and Lusaka, beginning on April 9, 2025.

This expansion will provide travelers with three weekly flights, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, utilizing the comfortable and spacious 50-seater Embraer ERJ145 aircraft.

The introduction of this route underscores the strong economic and social ties between Zimbabwe and Zambia, as highlighted by Fastjet Zimbabwe representatives.

The airline emphasized its decade-long dedication to serving the Zimbabwean community and expressed enthusiasm for extending its services to Lusaka.

A key feature of this new route is the early morning flight option, designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers seeking to maximize their time in Lusaka.

This strategic scheduling aligns with Fastjet’s existing sunrise flights to Bulawayo and Johannesburg, demonstrating the airline’s commitment to providing convenient and efficient travel options within the region.

The new route is expected to significantly boost regional connectivity, fostering increased travel and trade between the two capital cities.

The airline’s investment in this route reflects confidence in the growing demand for intra-regional travel and its commitment to facilitating economic and social development within the southern African region.

The direct flights will reduce travel time and enhance accessibility for both business and leisure passengers, promoting greater interaction and collaboration between the two nations.
