
DEPUTY MINISTER URGES ZITF ATTENDEES TO EXPLORE ZIMBABWE’S WONDERS
The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) recently hosted a special Exhibitors and Tourism Dinner in Bulawayo, a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry.
This vibrant evening was a gesture of gratitude towards exhibitors, visitors, and potential investors, while also serving as an opportune moment to spotlight the diverse attractions that Zimbabwe has to offer. The event aimed to entice guests to explore the country’s rich tapestry of adventure and natural beauty, effectively promoting the captivating essence of Destination Zimbabwe.
Addressing the distinguished attendees, the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Honourable Tongai Mafidi Mnangagwa, encouraged everyone to extend their stay beyond the confines of the trade fair. He passionately highlighted the array of nearby destinations that promise unforgettable experiences.
Among the attractions he mentioned were the tantalizing local cuisines, offering a taste of Zimbabwe’s rich culinary heritage. He also drew attention to the majestic Matopos Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its unique rock formations and historical significance. Furthermore, the tranquil Tsabalala Sanctuary was presented as an ideal escape into Zimbabwe’s serene wildlife and natural landscapes.
The Deputy Minister’s address underscored the government’s commitment to promoting tourism and ensuring that visitors have a comprehensive and enriching experience of Zimbabwe.
