To reach Bridal Veil Falls, a drive east through Chimanimani village followed by a northward turn at the Frog and Fern Cottages turnoff is required. The falls are nourished by a small stream flowing through the Eland Sanctuary, where visitors can enjoy picnicking and braai facilities amidst the lush surroundings. Locally known as Mutsarara, the falls are believed to be the dwelling place of a Njuzu (water nymph), adding a touch of mystique to the natural wonder.
Situated within the Eland Sanctuary, a small National Park, Bridal Veil Falls offers a serene oasis just 5km away from the village. The 50-meter cascade plunges down a sheer rock face into a pristine pool, inviting visitors to bask in its beauty and tranquility. The surrounding birdlife is a sight to behold, complemented by a diverse array of plant species such as Water Parsnip, Crotalaria Variegata, and Wild Banana.
Throughout the year, Bridal Veil Falls welcomes visitors from Monday to Sunday between 6 am and 6 pm, with an entrance fee applicable for entry.
