AZTA HONORS TOP TRAVEL PROFESSIONALS

The Association of Zimbabwe Travel Agents (AZTA) celebrated the industry’s best at its annual awards ceremony on September 21st, 2025. Held at The Beach House Restaurant in Harare under the theme “Country and Western,” the event recognized exceptional businesses and individuals who have made significant contributions to the Zimbabwean travel sector.

Founded over six decades ago, AZTA represents a network of 55 travel agents across Zimbabwe. The organization is affiliated with international bodies such as IATA, UFTAA, TBCZ, FESATA, and ZTA, ensuring a strong voice for its members.

Committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics, AZTA’s objectives include:

• Advocacy: Representing members’ interests to government, businesses, and the public.
• Training: Promoting professional development within the travel industry.
• Consumer Awareness: Educating consumers about the benefits of using AZTA-member agents.
• Industry Development: Fostering growth and opportunities within the travel sector.
