AIR ZIMBABWE LAUNCHES SPECIAL FARES FOR SANGANAI EXPO

Air Zimbabwe has announced a special flight schedule and fare structure to support the upcoming Sanganai/Hlanganani World Travel Expo in Mutare. The national airline is introducing daily return flights between Harare and Mutare from September 8 to 14, 2025, to provide convenient travel options for delegates, exhibitors, and visitors attending the event.

The new route offers a more accessible way to reach the Eastern Highlands, which is hosting the prestigious expo for the first time. Travelers can book one-way tickets from Harare to Mutare for as little as $85, or a return ticket for $150. These fares are designed to encourage travel and explore the long-term viability of the route.

In addition to the Harare-Mutare route, Air Zimbabwe is also offering seamless connections for a multi-destination experience. A one-way fare from Mutare to Victoria Falls is priced at $179, while a return ticket costs $310. The flights are scheduled to ensure a smooth journey, with the Harare to Mutare leg taking just 30 minutes, departing at 07:00 and arriving at 07:30. The return flight from Mutare to Harare departs at 17:30 and arrives at 18:00.

This initiative is a significant part of Air Zimbabwe’s turnaround strategy, aimed at expanding its route network and improving domestic connectivity. The airline has worked with key partners, including the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, to ensure a smooth operation. Air Zimbabwe is launching these fights to position itself as a key enabler of tourism growth and a committed partner in showcasing Zimbabwe’s attractions to the world.
