2026 GLOBAL TRADE CALENDAR TO PROPEL ZIMBABWE AND REGIONAL TOURISM
In a major push to consolidate Southern Africa’s footprint in premier international source markets, Africa’s Eden—the visionary regional tourism incubator—has unveiled an extensive global trade roadshow calendar for the latter half of 2026. Strategically partnered with the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA), the upcoming series of high-profile exhibitions and networking forums is set to ignite fresh commercial pipelines for operators across the region, with Zimbabwe taking center stage as a vital hub for luxury safari, adventure, and sustainable travel.
The multi-continental promotional campaign kicks off with the North America Roadshow, scheduled to run from July 20 to 30, 2026. This extensive tour offers regional operators and SATSA members an invaluable platform to capture the high-spending American and Canadian leisure markets, where demand for pristine wildlife corridors like Hwange National Park and Matusadona remains exceptionally robust. By presenting a unified regional front, exhibitors will engage directly with top-tier outbound operators to secure critical forward bookings for upcoming seasons.
Following the transatlantic push, the focus shifts inward to the continent with the South African Roadshow from August 24 to 28, 2026. Traversing the primary commercial and travel nodes of Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Hoedspruit, this regional circuit invites industry stakeholders to participate as travel buyers free of charge. This roadshow is designed to optimize essential cross-border regional tourism linkages, making it easier for regional neighbors to package seamless multi-destination itineraries that blend South Africa’s coastal hubs with Zimbabwe’s iconic landscapes.
As autumn approaches, Africa’s Eden will launch its most ambitious geographic expansion yet: the Europe Roadshow, running from September 21 to October 1, 2026. This rapid-fire offensive will target eight key European capitals and major cultural hubs, including Lisbon, Madrid, Geneva, Milan, Prague, Brussels, Paris, and Copenhagen. SATSA members and regional trade specialists are invited to exhibit across these diverse markets, tapping into a resilient European demographic that places a premium on conservation-led and culturally immersive travel experiences.
The grand finale of this blockbuster trade calendar lands back within the geography of the destination itself with the Africa’s Eden Global Travel Show, taking place from November 19 to 22, 2026, in Kasane, Botswana. Uniquely positioned right at the convergence of the region’s wild borders, the global edition opens the floor to international buyers with head offices located outside of Africa. By bringing global decision-makers directly to the doorstep of the Zambezi and Chobe systems, the event ensures that the breathtaking wilderness of Zimbabwe and the broader Africa’s Eden collective remains firmly at the top of the global travel agenda for 2027 and beyond.
